On Sunday, Mom and Dad went to their ward for the last time. They said it was hard, but they are excited to meet everyone in the new one.
Lee and I headed to Carrollton to get most of the stuff Karen has been storing for us. We left the kids with Anna and Stratton. Remember how I was shocked at Adeline going to bed?? Well, they were shocked at how much Will eats! They had never seen a kid eat so much! I thought that was funny. He must have been really hungry because he isn't always a great eater.
We were successful and were able to get most everything in the van. The van holds a lot when there are no kids in it! haha. Adam/Lauren and gang came for dinner- it was the first "official" meal cooked in the new kitchen. (not counting pancakes for breakfasts!)
Will loves ears. I don't know- that's just his thing. He loves to hold your ear. We all thought it was funny when he held both mine and Dad's.
It's always fun just sitting around, enjoying everyone's company. We certainly missed the Ben Nagel's though!
Monday morning was departure day. Anna/Stratton/Adeline headed to the airport for a week in Utah.
The cable man came and got Mom and Dad all hooked up again. Dad was hanging the tv over the mantle and Will couldn't resist helping. They were so cute, working side by side! It was all cute though, until Will dropped some tweezers into the tv. Dad and Lee had to take the back off to get them out.
We also were for headed home. Although not before going back to the old house to load one more box and get the Uhaul (we had left it there). When I realized there was yet "one more box" of our stuff, Lee loudly proclaimed that he was going to recommend me to be on an episode of hoarders!
I have to admit- I *did* have a lot of stuff! But, in my defense- most of it was furniture (a couch, piano, desk, 2 lazboys, 2 tables), food storage, and all of Amy's old baby clothes (which will be given away, I just had to bring them here to do it). But no so much in my defense- yeah- I have a lot of work ahead of me! And a baby coming in a month and a half! Geesh! Lee made me promise not to move anything- which of course I agreed to. I may be head strong, but I'm not stupid. I have no desire to go into an early labor...... well, not this early.
We drove back to Murfreesboro this afternoon and had the Elders and some friends (Thanks Joel and Linda!!) come for "dinner." Which consisted of pizza and moving the heavy stuff into the house. Currently our living room looks like this... everything just crammed in. But that's ok, at least its in the house! There is plenty of time to arrange it all. I put the kids in bed and sent Lee there as well. That poor man can't wait to go to school tomorrow- just to sit! haha. It's actually his spring break this week, but he'll spend it working on his dissertation.
So that was the exhausting/productive/fun weekend for all of us!
Oh, and might I also add- and I wish I had a picture- but along with the awesome new house, let me give a HUGE congrats to MOM who has lost a ton of weight! ( I can't remember exactly or I'd post it... but I think it's around 30 lbs since November) She looks amazing- her clothes all fit so well... well, some of them. One day everything was so baggy we kept teasing her that she looked gangster! But really- she looks wonderful and we are all so, SO proud of her!!! Keep it up Mom!!!

It looks like you and Lee have a job to get things all organized too! I'm sure it will look good when you get it all where you want it to be. Don't do it all at once. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day either. Love to all, Gram
