Company and Mud

Friday we got some company!! Meme and Great Grandma! Grandma is visiting from New York and her and mom decided to come stay for a night. We were so excited to have them!

That night we all went to O'Charley's for dinner. It was delicious.... though Lee had a critter crawling in his! Ahhh!! Luckily the manager happened to be walking by, just as it crawled out. She was so embarrassed and quickly whisked the plate away and got him another one. He also got his meal for free, so that was nice. It was a little gross, but it wasn't a crazy bug, just a regular one that you'd find at any picnic.

After dinner, we drove them all around MTSU to scope out Lee's school. They were impressed with how big and old the campus is. We showed them a few other things and then headed home where we all just sat and laughed. Will is always entertaining and Grandma got a kick out of him.

Today we just hung around, not doing anything special besides spending time with one another.

Sadly, they did have to leave. :(  We made sure to get our traditional 4 generation photo! Although, I can't wait to take one with I'm a) not pregnant or b) not nursing. As I'm always one of those and as plump as can be! I really hate these pics of me, but what are you gonna do?? It's just what the last month of pregnancy does to you.

And since I have hardly any pictures of myself this pregnancy, we thought we'd take one for posterity. Look how huge I am! I certainly, I don't feel as big as I look!!

After they left (around 2pm), we all had rest time. Will and I took naps, Lee played a game and Amy played in her room. After rest time, Will was still asleep, so I went in the garage to work on my old door coffee table (pictures coming soon). Amy came out with me and decided to have fun with some good old fashioned mud. She literally was covered from head to toe! She put it around her eye to make it look like she was a dog.

Needless to say, a bath was required after that! She had a lot of fun though and I had fun working on my table. I can't wait to get it done! But I'll admit it'll take longer than usual- the pregnancy is certainly slowing me down! (that's ok!)

It poured rain earlier, but now it's pretty and sunny out. Thanks Mom and Grandma for a great 2 days! We already miss you!

  1. I'm surprised you didn't just hose her off outside. She really gets into mud. Your mom looks super. She really has been working hard. Glad you could all enjoy Gram, I know how she was looking forward to seeing TN. And you don't look so bad, especially as it's 4 babies? Love always.

  2. Thanks for all the pictures!! Amy sure was a messy dog! What a mess. I'm sure she had a blast doing it though. Love to all, Gram
