Florida Trip 2019!

We had another great time in Florida this year! There were double red flags the first few days so the kids stayed on the shoreline. We stayed an extra day because I just knew we'd have good weather and it happened! The last day we spent the entire day on the beach. Very few waves and crystal clear water was absolute perfection!

Aside from beach time we became UNO champs- Granny bought UNO attack and that became a new favorite. We ate at several restaurants, Cindy and I had hours of daily talks on the beach, we had our usual joint birthday celebration and someone near us was fishing and caught a baby hammerhead. I have to admit, that was pretty cool. Will and I ran over to see it. We had a wonderful week and just enjoyed being with everyone! The pictures probably sum it up!

Lee has deemed himself an old man as he's taken to wearing socks with crocs. We all shake our head at him.

Our boys have developed a LOVE of oysters and shrimp. They eat all they can in Florida!

Will turned NINE!

More oysters...

They were quite worn out each night! Will is at the top part of the bed. Tyler shifted to the foot part and slept with his leg in the air. haha.

Pictures of Other Summer Fun

What you don't see is Tyler had Lee locked in the closet. He thought it was the funniest thing. I love this boys giggle! It makes me laugh even harder.

Oh Will.... This was his card for a neighbor- detailing what he should buy Will for his birthday. We didn't let him give it to him!

We jokingly call Will "Scuba Steve" because he always dons all this gear at the pool. Will loves to snorkel and has been getting really good at it. He keeps telling us he wants to be an oceanographer!

The MTSU outdoor pool is the best hidden secret of the county!

Apparently I was being attacked by a zombie eyed creature.

We didn't see this zucchini and wow it got big! We took it to Florida and grilled it one night. It was delicious!

The whipped cream container squirt all over Tyler. We thought it was hysterical. He did not.

The garden got a TON of rain while we were in Florida. I combed through everything before we left and nothing was ready. I got back to my sunflowers in bloom, zinnia going all over the place, 14 cucumber, the last kohlrabi, overgrown okra and other flowers growing all over the place. So much happens in a week! Oh, and I bought a lemon tree in Florida. I'm pretty excited about it. (No lemons yet)
