Amy didn't want to help me make Monster cookies, so Will helped instead.
I think he liked helping... or maybe it was the free reign of the dough??
He also liked sticking his hand in the peanut butter jar (it was empty).
He couldn't figure out how to get more out of it.
The bunting I made for Amy's room.
I took this in broad daylight, so the picture is a little bright.
I also made Amy a covered corkboard for her room.
Something to keep her from taping/pinning things to the walls.
And thanks to Uncle Steve for the big bag of buttons from Una.
Am I the luckiest girl or what??!!??!!!
I took some and made them into thumb tacks for the corkboard.
The other day Amy and Will were playing in the hall shower (its just a shower, no tub).
They managed to turn on the water and were quite surprised with themselves!
Amy ran out, but Will stood in shock.
She asked how to spell "Taylor" and then wrote it in Lego's.
Daddy built a fort and we all had fun playing in it!
| this would be when Will crawled over my head, just as a photo was being snapped. There's nothing like documenting this! haha |
The rest of our week has been pretty normal. I had some new friends over on Thursday morning for a playgroup. I immediately loved them and had the greatest time! They happened to mention a book club that was going on that night, and I went to that as well. I had a BLAST there. I didn't even feel "new," it was great! Apparently they do a lot of girls nights out here- something I also love! I already prepped Lee for my late nights and he was just glad that I've made some good friends.
Yes, we are still loving Murfreesboro!
What's not to love!!! From all the great pictures I would say you are all enjoying your new home. I'm so glad you are getting yourself out to meet new people too as that was one thing I didn't do each time we moved and I was always sorry I didn't. Keep up all the fun family and group things, it's great for your family. Much love to you all, Gram
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been busy. Gramma Una would be glad someone is using the buttons. What a cool idea. Now, how to keep those water loving kids out of the shower? New friends are a fun blessing, glad you are making some. Finally got home yesterday, a finish to a super trip with Ann. Thank you for being part of the fun. Love always.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of the buttons. I have always loved buttons. You will just have to come up with something creative for me. How about putting some magnets on the back so I can use them on my magnetic wall. Good Idea eh? I want some fun ones!
