Geographical Center

So hence the name, Middle Tennessee State University, the exact geographical center of the state is located 1/2 mile from campus. Yesterday we took a drive over there to take a few pictures. It was pretty uneventful with a tiny parking lot surrounded by college housing. But at least we can say that we stood in the center!

(Will was asleep in the car, that's why he's not in these.)

Amy took this one, and um, excuse the cleavage. I'm so embarrassed!

We also found an outlet mall, only 20 mins away! Score for us! Or maybe not for our wallets! There are some great stores and even better deals. We'll definitely remember this place in the future!!

But the kids had fun playing on the playground at the mall. Will had a blast during his first time on a slide, and he kept wanting to go down again and again. I can't say that I blame him. I love a good slide.

Amy loves her new shoes. Lee shook his head and said I already corrupted her when she wanted new ones. I just smiled! :)

(A few weeks ago I asked Lee if MTSU was in the middle of TN. He shook his head and said, well since the name is "middle"......... BUT in my defense, there are a LOT of place that have "middle" in the name and aren't really in the "middle" of anything. He had to agree with me there. But then we looked it up and saw that it really IS in the exact "middle" of the state. So there you have it- so trivia in case you are a blond like me.)

  1. Not so blond, you had a valid argument. What fun I agree a slide was always fun, although never long enough. Glad you had a fun day. Love always.
