Will's Curiosity and a Hiking Backpack

Will found the craft cupboard that I created for Amy. I'll admit that I didn't pull him away right away because he was quiet and was having lots of fun.

The clean-up was worth it!

We both took turns trying on the new backpack we got for Will. Sometimes a stroller isn't feasible and come fall, when we start going on small hikes, we needed something to put him in. Here is Lee modeling it for us....

Will seemed to like it. Carrying him on our backs will definitely give us an added workout!

Amy is always coloring/creating away. She's really good with crayons/markers/scissors. She's never drawn on anything except paper and only had the one accident (when she was two) when she cut her own hair. So she's allowed to have crayons in her room. It's nice actually, because she'll go in there and just color to her hearts content. Lee and I have lots and lots of her artwork. And she's forever making presents for people. So watch your mailbox- you never know when something is coming your way!

  1. Glad to see the kids enjoying all their new places to play. I'm sure Amy is in seventh heaven with all her new adventures. It's nice to see they have such fun together. Keep up the good work.
    Much love to all, 'Gram

  2. Okay, so where did you get the backpack? That will come in handy in our next neighborhood since we have walking trails...And it looks like the kids are enjoying their new house...so many fun things to do!

  3. I am glad it's you guys and not me having to carry Will on your back. I see a future of sweating profusely ahead. If I were you Sarah I would keep complimenting on how good Lee looks with back back. Carry the sandwiches instead.

  4. Oh, I forgot to comment on Amy. I noticed the rope tied to her chair. She is so funny about loving string and rope to tie up.
