or in other words... Happy Anniversary to us! Awhile ago I read on
this site the great idea of celebrating your anniversary with a family birthday party- since that was the birth/start of your family! I loved that idea and since Lee and I are too cheap to pay for babysitters- this worked for us.
Since our anniversary was yesterday (Sunday, the 15th) we didn't do too much. The night before, I made a delicious bundt cake and I put 7 candles on it. SEVEN- wow! Time has flown!
After church we all enjoyed our cake.....

and then we took naps. Sounds like a great party to me!! haha. Next year I'll be more organized and plan a fun family event.... a hike or trip or something.... but for now this was fun. We were going to watch our wedding video too, but we'll do that later in the week.
It's hard to tell, but Will's face was red from a spaghetti dinner. I guess he enjoyed it!
Anyways- Happy Anniversary to us! We are considering this Lucky Year Number Seven! (which is great compared to 'year of hell, number 6!")
Happy Anniversary. I got a box sent off to you a few minutes ago so you can have something to look forward to. The cake looked yummy! Wow, 7 years! I guess ours is next but we are on #38 yesh!
ReplyDeleteSorry about that, it's #37 for us seeing as we were married in 1974. I'm so glad your father doesn't see these blogs. I am always getting it wrong.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary. Naps sounds like a good idea as well. Hard to believe 7 years. Seems like only yesterday. Has Lee turned purple or something that he doesn't want to be seen? Love always.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!! Sorry but I can't remember all the anniversary dates--I have hard enough time trying to remember all the 37 birthdays. I can't believe it has been 7 years already. Your cake looks great and must have been enjoyed by all. Glad you celebrated!! Lots of love to you all, Gram
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! :o)
