Here are a few pictures that I had on my camera....
Amy had me tied up. This girl loves a rope!
Playing with a roll of toilet paper
Her favorite thing to build though, is temples. She's always constructing a different one. Maybe that will be her future occupation??
This one reminded me of the Hawaii Temple
We probably should have stripped Amy down too.
Will woke up with his normal morning cry. But when I went to get him, he was still laying down (he usually has crawled to the end of the crib and is standing, waiting for someone to pick him up). When I went to get him- the whole right side of his face was laying in slime. It's was like clear mucous. (we think he coughed it up). I wiped it off but he wouldn't stop crying. Then it seemed like he was asleep, but he wouldn't wake up. His left eye would open, but his right stayed closed. I tried waking him, rocking him, etc- nothing would stop the screaming, he was completely limp and of course his one eye was closed and he was kind of unresponsive.
So we decided we need to go to the Dr. We all headed to the ER. There was no one there, so we went right in (plus- since we have a baby- they didn't waste any time). His eye was still drooped and nothing really had changed.
The poor little guy!
The doctor couldn't find anything wrong, except for the start of an ear infection- in the other ear. He had a slight fever too. So who knows. He was starting to wake-up by this point, and although his eye was still noticeably droopy, he was starting to act normal. The doctor also thought he might be getting an eye infection. So they released us with some anti-biotics. So who knows! Lee and I kind of think that maybe he was having a night terror and that's why we couldn't wake him. We can't think of anything else. He seems fine in every other way- so we'll just keep watching him to make sure he's ok. We both still aren't convinced that it's only an ear infection, but who knows.
So that was our morning! We are all ready for naps! That took a day's worth of energy out of us! We have a lot to do today as we leave tomorrow to start our trek to the BEACH!! Which we are SO excited about!! To any Hiliger-side family reading this- We can't wait to see everyone!

Us either. Made our hotel reservation for the way down this morning. Had a hard time deciding how far to go the first day. Went with an even split. When in Chicago cousin Maureen has a cat that loves to play with the toilet paper as well. Maybe he's just a pet. I agree with you, that doesn't seem normal for an ear infection, but who knows. Kids just like to give us a hard time. Well, travel safely see you Sat. Love always.
ReplyDeleteSorry Will is so sick! Hope the antibiotics will get whatever is bothering him. Ear infections are so hard to guess--ask your mother as she had a real time with you Sarah. I believe you remember that too. There must be something going on as Will has been sick too long for it to be just teeth. We are all anxious for our little get together. Sure hope we all have a good time. Travel safe and we'll be seeing you real soon.
ReplyDeleteMuch love to all, Gram
