Hub Fest

Today we journeyed out into the sunshine and heat for Hubfest. It's the local craft show type thing. (Hattiesburg is nicknamed the Hub City because of it's proximity to Jackson, the Gulf and New Orleans) 

Kind of a strange looking flower!

One of Lee's professors, Dr. Johnson, is in a band that was playing. 

He's also on his dissertation committee. 

We didn't stay too long. It was hot and the kids were getting fussy. It was past Will's naptime and Amy definitely needed one as well. It was fun to get out and walk around though. I was really grumpy beforehand... I'm not sure why- just one of those days I guess. But the Vitamin D did it's work and I'm sure the family is grateful for that.

Will had fun with Amy's balloon after we got home.

I attached it to a clipboard and Amy said, "Hey! That's cool!"

I said, "I know, I'm a genius."

 Amy said, "Yeah Mom- you are!"

Ahhh- kids!

Oh! that sunshine can do it every time. It looked like a good time was had by all. I love Will with the baloon! You sure have two of the cutest kids. I just can't wait until we get together in June. Hope your day was great! Much love to all, Gram

AGAIN with the heat and sun!!! But the pictures are great and glad you all had a good day. Did you all clap REALLY REALLY hard for the professor? Maybe he'll give you an extra vote. Love always.
