Amy comforting Will when he woke up from a nap. She was singing songs to him- so sweet!! He was calm, but started crying when he saw me and realized I wasn't picking him up right away.
Yesterday I had Amy go for rest time. She was really quiet (and tired) so I assumed she was sleeping. Well, the joke was on me! I didn't know she had swiped the brand new box of band-aids. But she had... and proceeded to unwrap them all and stick them around her kitchen. (sigh)
My friend Kristy always reads 'big' books to her kids at night. So I decided to I start doing that with Amy. I also wanted her to learn how to sit and imagine a book, instead of always seeing pictures. We started reading Ramona and Beezus and it's been SO fun! I have to admit that I am shocked at how absorbed she gets in the story and doesn't want me to stop reading. This afternoon she brought it out to me and asked me to read some more. I even ask her questions about what happened and she can give a pretty good summary. Thanks Kristy for this wonderful idea! We will definitely continue after we finish this one!
I have a few baby showers coming up- so I've been crafting away. This is for my friend Stacy's little boy. (Many of you know Stacy Copassaki, now Moldovan- we grew up together. So shhhhh if you see her!) It turned out SO cute and I'm in love with it. I may even make one for my kids.
That's all we've been up to. I have more projects going, but I can't post them yet because they aren't finished. Lee's interview is this week- so everyone cross whatever you can! :)

- Maybe you will learn now that she will take all the Bandaids if she gets a chance--Mothers have to learn too you know!! I don't know why but it seems all kids love to do that and know they really should not touch them I had a few episodes of the kids with them too. I love your craft project. I didn't realize Stacy was married. Give her my best wishes. You now have a great chance to get more projects done while Lee is away. I hope all goes well. You are always in my prayers.
