We reserved this day for anything that we wanted to see, but didn't budget for the first day. Well, we tend to overdo things, so we really saw it all. At least the highlights. I would have liked to go to the botanical gardens, but that will have to be another trip.
This trip we gave everyone a backpack and said they could only have it for the trip. Everyone did a great job sticking to their one bag. They carried it themselves and took care of their stuff. It was awesome, having older kids is the best. Tyler got these sunglasses from a popup shop and he bought the stuffed Luigi from Cracker Barrel a few days before. He loves both!
I wanted to take pics of our cute Air BNB. It was a basement apartment and while small, it didn't feel that way. It was really well laid out. We loved it there.
Since we didn't go back into the city, we decided to head out. We took a small detour to the Washington DC temple. We all could not believe how big it was. And the visitors center was amazing.
We stopped about half way home for the night and then got home the next day. I was a great trip! We packed in a lot- but that's how we roll in our house!
