Washington DC- day 2

It was time to get moving again! Back to the metro- this time we started at the International Spy Museum.

Real James Bond car! My dad liked this photo.

They had a lot of cool spy stuff inside. Most of it was from real spies, testimonials, hidden weapons and such. But they also mentioned movies with spies in it (James Bond) They had a game you played as you went along- acting like you were a spy. You got a secret name and a code to go along with it. It was fun. I was a terrible spy.

Next we had timed tickets for the Air and Space museum. We got there early and waited for a good 45 mins. But since we were recovering from our giant walk yesterday, nobody minded.

The first display? The Star Trek Enterprise spaceship. Lee was pretty excited.

If you are into airplanes or space- this place was pretty cool. None of us are that into it, so while it was fun to walk around, we weren't really into it.

Next stop was the National Archives. You can't take pictures in there- but I thought this place was cool. They had the Magna Carta! And a ton of other documents. Of course the highlight was seeing the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This place went on forever, but we didn't wander too much.

Back to the metro. Saw a few things along the way.

And then back to the grocery store for dinner. It seems like we didn't do much- but it was so much walking- we were really worn out. I think you can go to DC for weeks and not see it all. But we became quite skilled at the metro and crosswalks.
