Murfreesboro!

I'll admit that I haven't been crazy excited about this Murfreesboro trip. Mainly because we've been so busy with other travels and since Will was sick. So Lee tried not to take offence that I wasn't jumping out of my seat during the drive. Until we got to the TN line rest area.

It was the NICEST rest area I've ever seen. We've obviously been stuck in MS too long because we were going nuts. We are such dorks! It had this nice fire area, with carpet and rocking chairs. We hung out there for awhile. And there were rows and rows of pamphlets. So much to see and do!!! I got a little excited!!

Here we go!

The first thing we did was drive around MTSU. What a pretty campus!! And SO big! There are over 26,000 students. So I guess you'd have to big to accommodate them all. It's full of trees! I bet its really gorgeous in the fall!

This is the Criminal Justice Dept. It's in this old building. Actually, they are in the process of moving to another building and this will be torn down. We went in and said hi to Lee's boss and the department secretary. They were SO nice and really excited that we came by. I'm so glad Lee will be working for such a great department!!

I didn't get a ton of other pictures. I was half looking, half dealing with the overly exhausted and tired of sitting the car kids.

(I was trying to get a picture of the HUGE stadium)

So that's it for now. I should take more pictures, but I'm sure once we move here you'll see plenty. haha. Now that we have a house, we are really, really excited and are glad the move is only a week and a half away!!

  1. Yippeee!!!! So glad the trip was successful. Everything looks great. Does it have a bath for the master? You didn't mention but the closets look super. Gram's first question of course will be any shelter area for tornado warnings? Her next will be you aren't near any flood area are you? I think the house looks lovely and the back yard so inviting. Can't wait to see it in person. You never know it could be sooner than you think. This sure is a busy summer but full of so many good things. Love always.

The yard is nice and level and a great place for the kids to play. It's nice to have a fence too.
I'm so glad you didn't have to spend a week to find a nice place.
You'll feel like your in heaven after where you are now. It even looks cool with all the nice trees around. Good job. What a relief you must feel. I remember when we spent days looking and couldn't find anything even half decent. Good choice.
