I finally got these done! These took a lot of work and a lot of brain power. There is a lot of "jerry-rigging" underneath but luckily the average person can't see all that. The boys saw this idea online and immediately fell in love with it. Of course Amy was pretty happy to come aboard and be the alien.
I love the names on their shirts.
I found Amy sitting in her unfinished spaceship on Sunday morning. She said, "Mom, I just LOVE it."
She even has lights to make her extra UFO-y.
These were definitely not without their challenges! Oh boy. I spent one Saturday, one Monday and half of Tuesday creating them all. I know a lot of people wouldn't do this, but I really like the creativity and challenge of it.
I stupidly used all the cardboard I had stored in the gardens the other weekend so I had to go scavenging for more. I found a cardboard only dumpster on campus and had to do a little diving. Then I made a huge mess in the kitchen cutting, taping an hot gluing all day long.
But that's ok, Like I said, I enjoy doing it and they turned out cute- at least from a distance. haha.
Happy Halloween!!!

I love it!! So creative!
