The Wades Go Camping 2019

Our annual camping trip was a success. Well, we were supposed to get a cold front which none of us felt, so this was definitely "the HOT year." But we had a good time regardless.

Will and Evan convinced Beth and I to move this log into the water so they could make a "canoe." Then they pretended they were explorers. It was really cute.

Amy and Annabelle dancing around the fire.

The kids and dad's played a LOT of four square. Some times for hours and hours.

We had a group kickball game. It was fun and everyone played, which was also fun.

At the playground a few of the dads and a lot of the kids played a game of football. That was also fun to watch.

The real bummer of the weekend was Will had a seizure. Poor guy.

Lee watching out for him while he slept. It was hot that day so we pulled the fan over to try and cool him down.

We celebrated Cait's 14th birthday. Her mom made a dutch oven chocolate cake.

Annndddd...... her brother accidentally spilled it. haha, oh man. It did look good though!

Tyler's legs when we got home. Talk about DIRT! He also fell down a few times and had about 8 bandaids all over him. He was literally a mess.

We had a great time though. The extra heat made everyone extra tired but you can't control the weather. We actually decided to pack up and leave Sunday night instead of Monday morning because it was finally going to rain. But it was going to rain a lot. No one wanted to pack tents and sleeping bags in the rain! That turned out to be a good choice as it rained several inches early Monday morning and continued all day. It finally got colder too. So maybe fall has officially arrived in Middle Tennessee!!
