Price is Right, Funny Friday Morning Antics and a Hike

In church I work with the 8-11 yr old girls- it's called Activity Days. This past week we did a lesson on budgeting and played a few Price is Right games. It was fun.

Friday morning was typical (?) around here.....
Will was wearing his french toast crust on his head.....

Tyler was complaining loudly that he had nothing to wear.....

And Amy was dancing around looking for Christmas attire. She was able to wear size 8 pajama bottoms and Tyler's (size 6) tshirt. She is one small girl! (It was 'Dress as Your Favorite Holiday" day at school.

I got to go hiking Saturday with my group. (Talana's mom was in town and came along as well.) This time we went to The Stone Door. It was a steep hike and it wore us out, but it was beautiful!

It's called the Stone Door because this tree looks like a door handle on the stone wall.

When we finished that part, we drove nearby to Greeter Falls. I've never gone down a spiral staircase in the woods before. I kept thinking, "How did they get this thing out here??"

Greeter Falls:

People were jumping off that middle rock section into the pool. While that was somewhat stupid (the water seemed deep enough), the real idiots were the ones at the top of the falls, just walking and sitting at the edge. We kept watching to see if they were safe and/or were about to fall in. By the time we left it seemed as if all was well. But whew!

On the way there while driving past this old church someone said, "What a neat old church!" Right then I read the sign and said, "Hey! That's OUR church!" On the way home we stopped and walked around. It's not in use anymore as it's just a chapel. But it's pretty neat.

And that's about it for this week!
