Tubing Down the Duck River

On Labor Day we asked friends if anyone wanted to go tubing with us. Turns out they all did and we all enjoyed a day on the river. We took the first float from about 10:30-12:30, got out and had a picnic lunch, and did it all over again. We were finished by 4pm and everyone declared it had been the best day. 

I have to say, getting 20 people down river was not the easiest task. especially when 12 of them are children. It was quite hysterical in the beginning when people would flip out of floats, parents would get ahead of their child, only to hear the child screaming in terror. We should have been filming a comedy show. Everyone finally got the knack of it and it was really fun. 

 

 

The fun filled day wore everyone out! I think all three were asleep 10 minutes into the drive home! Tubing may have just become a tradition!
