Hair Week

As I mentioned in the two previous posts- this has been a week of hair! Though not my own (although I did manage to finally highlight mine. These kids are chasing my blonde away! Not to gray, just dark) Every morning Amy gets so excited about her new hairstyle. And well, I'm a sucker. Actually, it's a LOT of fun trying out new styles. She's never let me do it before (other than the daily ponytail), and until about 3 months ago, cried and screamed when you brushed it. So it's been a long time coming!


Tuesday

I thought for sure this was going to fall out during dance class... then I'd have one upset Amy on my hands! But it didn't, and actually managed to last all day. She had no problem telling/showing anyone that would listen about her hair. She's so funny.

Before I did her hair, I was watching a short video online. I told her she needed to wait a minute. Then she said, "I have a great idea! How about you do my hair while you watch your movie." I swear she needs to be a lawyer.

We had to do a good head washing that night. Lee wanted a picture with it down and all crazy. There were some pretty curls in it. If they were more uniform, I would've wanted her to keep them.

Ahhhhh! She looks so grown up!

Thursday

After that we took a little break and went back to the daily ponytail. Doing her hair definitely is a lot of fun! (now that she'll finally let me do it)
