Will is always on the lookout for food. We still haven't been able to fill him up. He found Amy's uneaten toast and went for it...
This morning and afternoon we watched Conference. The kids even got in on it. At one point Amy said, "Mom - he told us to obey!" It was really cute.

What a beautiful idea with the pillows. You must have been talking about a different grandmother than this one. I don't think she has ever thrown out anything. Ask your mom. Don't label yard sales the same everywhere. There are some really good ones here with great deals. I don't go much, because I have all the stuff I don't need already. Maybe in your new turf it will be different. Great pics of the kids you don't need a puppy to clean up the scraps, you have Will. Does her imagination ever take a nap? Thanks for the update. Love always.

Sorry about your boo boo. You will just have to come home to your mother so she can kiss it and make it better. Especially seeing as you are becoming YOUR MOTHER! Yikes. If it is any consolation, the same thing has happened to me and the result is that I am nearly perfect... cool huh?

I'd like to know where you are getting those old pictures of Grampa and me. That had to be at least sixty years ago. At least I can remember how old it is. That is a nice idea for a pillow though. I love all the pictures of the kids. It is cute when Will goes along with whatever Amy is doing. She has such a great imagination. Hope he learns it from her too. Love to all, Gram

cute pillows. You are so creative! and what a good mom you are to play with your kids so much! As for the yard sales, I don't imagine MS is the place to find good stuff. That may sound rude, but.....if the shoe fits....ha, ha...
Amy drawing a picture.
Actually, we watched the Sandlot
(anyone remember all the language? yikes! I didn't remember it being in there!)
She then drew the baseball field, the dog and the ball the dog ate. She also drew the busted baseball. We were quite impressed!
Amy decided to make these blocks into drums.
Then she got spoons to use as her sticks.
Will joined in on the fun. Amy wasn't feel very well.... and hadn't been all day. I wanted to look at her throat, so I got a flashlight and a pencil (to hold down her tongue). Well, I accidently gagged her... which caused her to throw-up, THREE times on the carpet. Yeah... we aren't getting our deposit back. BUT she did sleep well after that and has been fine all day today, so I guess whatever it was got out of her system.
So this morning I decided to go yard sale-ing. Now, I'm not a yard saler, at all. But I wanted to find a few things, and cheap, so I decided to be brave and go. I really hate going, and perusing people's junk, especially by myself, but I did it. Ok, ugh! People!! No one wants your junk! And I mean JUNK. Stuff that my grandmother threw away 30 yrs ago type junk. And it was all dirty. It was so gross. And clothes! Wow! All people sell here is clothes! It was amazing.
At one house, everyone was parking on the wrong side of the road. So, as to not obstruct traffic, I parked along with them. Well, I got out of the car and slipped on the wet grass, into a ditch.... skinning my knee on the pavement on the way down. Lovely. And it hurts like the devil.
So that is all I have to show for my first yard sale-ing experience.

Amy felt the need to dress me up in a towel (a burka or Mary??)
But she made Will a cape
Then between sessions I made the pillow with Grandma and Grandpa on it. I had made the other one a month or so ago. I wanted to do a tutorial for my craft blog. But I love the pillows- I think they are a different way to show off a picture! I call them Love Pillows because they feature people that I love!
