May brought lots of fun events.
We got an invitation for Amy that she was getting an award. We actually didn't know what it was for and it was a surprise for her! She won student of the year for her US History class. This was especially funny because all summer she complained that she was going to have to take US History. Our friend got her in with the best teacher and it made all the difference! Mr Hunnycutt totally changed her mind. And then she won an award for it!
I made an outdoor garden table- only I made it waaaay too big and later had to dissemble and remake.
Tyler finishing his homeschool archery season.
Michael was over one night when there happened to be a tornado alert- the "take cover now" type. Thank heavens I had cleaned the bathtub that morning!
The cicadas came out! They are strange little creatures! our chickens ate really well!
Amy and I took a day trip to her Archery Nationals in Louisville, KY. This was a sad day though because several of her close friends were graduating and this was the last time she would shoot with them.
We got to see the Aurora Borelis way down here in TN! That was pretty cool.
I fixed the table and got it back down to a reasonable size.
Outdoor movie nights are my favorite!!
She wore her matching dress for Mothers Day.
Our 20th anniversary! My diamond had fallen out of my original ring, never to be found- which was so sad! So Lee bought me a new one for our anniversary. We ended up returning this one because the size was wrong and getting a different one.
Our friends, Chris and Lydia celebrated their 9th anniversary- which is pottery- so a bunch of us went out to paint. I chose a salt holder thing. I had never done this before, it was fun!
These are hands down my favorite! You can only buy them in London.
Exactly!
Will is growing!
First strawberries and dirty hands!
