June started with me and Jennifer Salter sneaking down to GA for the day. We went to my parents house to swipe some of their old photo albums while they were out of town. This was for a surprise later on....
Early in the month Amy and Will headed to FSY. This was Will's first time going- and being away from home!
Tyler's excited reaction that he was the only child for the week!
What Will and Amy didn't know was that as soon as we dropped them off, Tyler and I headed to Anna's house!
When the week was over, we drove back and picked Amy and Will up on the way home. They looked a lot more tired! But they had a great week at FSY.
Will is gaining in height!
Marty turned 4, so Amy made him a birthday treat!
Will turned 14! He had his birthday planned out in a very specific way.
He wanted to open presents first.
For lunch- it was Nachos, of course. Complete with the sombrero that he couldn't wait to wear.
He specifically wanted his cake to be a layer of chocolate and a layer of strawberry with NO frosting.
Happy 14th Birthday Will! We sure do love you!
These are all out of order- but the Allen's came back down for a visit as we celebrated Meme and Papa's 50th Anniversary! Their celebration was a surprise for them- and they were surprised! Years ago, I stole mom's wedding dress from Grandma's house so I've been waiting to display that. Then we made a book that had family and friends contribute kind words. It was a great surprise!
While here, we went to the Ben Rector/Cody Fry concert. Mom and Anna already had tickets, I tagged along when Dad gave me his. I had never heard of either person but I left quite the fan!
The Allen's gave Will these bubble things and the kids had a blast playing with them.
We had Amy and Adeline try on Meme's dress. It was a little too realistic! Meme was shocked that she was ever that small! As the dress fit both girls nearly perfectly.
