April brought us to the Allen's to watch the Solar Eclipse. When it happened a few years ago, our town had full visibility, and this time Anna's did. Lee and Amy had to stay home because of work/school. But the boys and I joined Meme and Papa for a fun week! These cousins just love being together!
It happened to also be General Conference weekend, so we all piled into their tv room to watch that. We even found a video replay of Stratton when he sang in the choir many moons ago.
This photo should have been first- but on the way up there we stopped at at rest stop that still had a phone booth. We tried calling Lee but couldn't get it to work.
Back home. The boys were tired of the bunkbed and I had them help take it down.
Amy went to the church's prom (aka Mormon Prom) with her boyfriend, Michael. I laughed when she was getting ready and then caught a frog. It was hard finding a semi-modest dress that she liked so I took on the task of making one for her. It wasn't perfect, but she loved it.
Ky, Ry and Ty.
Ky Dosset, Ryker Welsh and Tyler. They actually called themselves Karate- Ky- Ry- T. haha.
Master Gardener Group photo.
Will had several baby teeth that needed to be pulled- before and after.
Tyler had an EEG. The results came out good- it seems that he's outgrown his seizures. Which is such a relief!
Tyler also turned 12! We celebrated with a customary Nachos Restaurant lunch with their favorite manager Salvador.
The one thing Tyler kept asking for his birthday was to see the Allen's. He talked about it forever. So Anna and the kids came down to surprise him. We blindfolded him and had his walk outside to view his surprise. He was nearly in tears he was so happy!! They also silly stringed him- his favorite!
While here, Anna helped me with a project I had been dragging my feet on- reorganizing my printed cookbook! She was such a lifesaver!
