Christmas Eve we tried to fit several "tradition" things in as we didn't have any time beforehand.
Christmas Eve is also the day the kids get to play with their elves. This happens to be Tyler's favorite day. He LOVES the elves. Just love, love, loves them. He played with them all.day.long. It was so cute.
We also finally got to decorate our Gingerbread house. The fact that it was "tradition" was the only thing that kept me going as we just had a lot to do. But we've had pictures for the past 7 years and I didn't want to break that streak.
After we got through that, we had our traditional turkey dinner. We invited some friends- Cynthia, Larry and their daughter Kristen West over for the festivities. Unfortunately the only picture I got was of the pre-cooked turkey. I didn't get an after! Oh well. It was yummy.
The kids opened their sibling gifts that night (again, no pictures. I'm failing this year!) And then it was CHRISTMAS!!
