The day he was waiting for finally happened. Lee's surgery! He had an ablation on his heart. Basically there was a little fiber that was causing his heart to freak out thinking it wasn't getting enough blood flow. They were going to go in through the groin and burn the fiber out.
The procedure went great. While in there, they fixed another little thing that was making his heart beat erratically. But everything was routine and a simple fix. His surgery didn't start and end until late, so for that reason we had to stay overnight in the hospital. But we went home the next day and his recovery went great.
Mom and Dad stayed with the kids for us. While here they had a fun, money earning, game. You have to be blindfolded and whatever you picked up with a spatula, you got to keep. I was the winner this time around with nearly $20.
