July

I had a really good onion harvest and wasn't sure what to do with all of them. Will wanted to try making Onion Rings. He did a great job and they were really good!

We celebrated the Fourth of July at the neighbors. They had a great a giant BBQ and we all brought fireworks. Will had his 2nd seizure of the year which was not fun. Mom and Dad came to celebrate and it's always fun having them here.

 We got our first egg!!

The boys are really close in height!

I helped in one of the Master Gardener Demo Gardens. I was filthy afterwards, but that's typical of me.

Our friends Heather and Tyler Owen were sealed in the temple and we got to go with. It was so much fun to be there for that event.

Several of us from church celebrated Carmen Corns 65th birthday. Although later on her husband realized that's not how old she is and we all had a good laugh about that. Oh well- we celebrated anyway! (I can't remember her correct age)

We moved the beds around in the boys room. They were a big help in gathering all the junk and helping me move the bunkbeds.

Anna and Adeline went to Girls Camp. Stratton had to work. So the boys got to come stay with us for a week. It was a blast and my boys loved every minute. Amy had fun too- but she definitely missed Adeline!

When situating beds Abe told Amy, "I sleep in you's bed." And he did! All week. Right alongside Amy.

A friend had a loaded crabapple tree and we all went to pick. I then made Crabapple Sauce with it. It was tart- but Amy loved it.

Celebrated my friend Kristen West's birthday,

Two Happy Eggs! (A sign that Amy was here. She puts smiley faces everywhere she goes)

Shopping with the boys. Will loves clothes shopping. Tyler hates it.

The rooster, Rory. He looks so small here! He's definitely gotten much bigger!

Amy got home from Girls Camp and Marty was awfully happy about it.

We ran Amy ragged this summer. Everything we went and did came right after something she got home from. She was a worn out girl! This time we met up with Lee's mom and went to Davy Crockett State Park for a few days. We had a lot of fun kayaking, walking, exploring, eating out... all the usual fun things.

This kid loves ice cream. He was pretty excited to try a banana split. He loved it.

Will got tired of riding at one point. But he got back up. He wasn't a fan of having to sleep out in the woods.

And one of the really exciting things happened- Lee got promoted! He was the Department Chair of Criminal Justice. The Dean of his college retired, and the Associate Dean took that guy's place. She chose Lee to be her Associate Dean. So that's where he is now. He got a new office and I went to hang all his pictures. He was really excited and it liking it. He doesn't get to teach anymore (there isn't time) which mad him sad, but he's going to try this for awhile and see how it goes. Congrats Lee!
