So, for anyone wondering how Lee did on his dissertation defense..... well.... He hasn't done it yet. It was postponed and as of yet, he doesn't have a new date. The deadline is in 2 weeks (June 8), so it has to be done by then.
Of course, at first we were really upset, but we've gotten used to the idea now and are just hoping and praying that it happens soon! We really love it here and don't want to leave. :(
Doesn't anyone there have even a small sense of sympathy? Don't they want students to get finished and ahead? It just doesn't seem right. Why do they have to make it so hard? It's just mind boggling. Will keep him in our prayers. Has his college seemed sympathetic to the process? Any way they have a right to try and move the process along? Can't think they would want to loose him as I'm sure he is super in his job. Good luck. Love always.
ReplyDeleteIt has been forever since I have seen your blog. All the updates, pics and videos were so fun to catch up on. It is 1 in morning but I was determined to look through them all. Have fun with Adam and Lauren and gang. I know you will. Wish I was along too cause I know you will laugh a ton. Hate missing that. Love, MOM
