Fall Break took us on an adventure this year. Our friend Maylee Robbins was a fiddler as a part of the Nauvoo Performing Missionaries in Nauvoo. So naturally, we had to go visit. It was such a great trip!
On the way, we drove past Metropolis. Of course we had to stop and see Superman's hometown! It's kind of run down,, but it was fun to see.
We took another detour to the Arch.
We finally arrived in Nauvoo and spent the next few days touring all around and watching Maylee perform. It was so much fun. It was also the last week before they closed down major operations for the winter, so there weren't any crowds- which we really liked!
On the bank of the Mississippi, looking back at the temple.
The end of Parley Street, where the saints crossed the Mississippi River.
Lee and I started playing Trivia with Chris and Lydia. We came in first place!
Will was sleeping in seminary.
