December is always so busy!!
Lee and I took our football loving Tyler to his first professional game. It was cold, but we had a great time!
Jennifer Salter and myself on the local radio for Master Gardeners.
Tyler was my light helper this year. He told me that when I get old, he'll come help every year. Such a sweet boy!
I can't remember why Lee was barricaded in the bathroom. But one of the kids did it.
I'm not sure why we took a photo of the house, but here you have it. Circa December 20203
Will got to be in the city Christmas parade.
It was a cold wait for him to get to us!
He was as happy as can be dancing all around!
Amy went to the military ball with her soon to be boyfriend, Michael Campbell. We found a dress online at a really good price. It just needed a little hemming. She had a fun time.
Master Gardener Christmas Party
Will was in a Christmas Choir as well.
A friend from church wanted our backyard playset. We were glad it went to a good home! They came with a trailer and I'm still not sure how they managed it, but they did!
Our friends, the Robbins, always have the best Christmas family concert. It's a highlight of my December each year!
Lunch with some church friends
A Master Gardener training meeting. This is our head guru- Natalie Bumgarner.
Tyler and I have a tradition of driving around to look at lights. We then put a "you are the best" treat in the mailboxes of ones we think are really awesome.
Mom and Dad came for Christmas and helped us redo our falling apart porch! It was much needed and we love the result. (Although it's harder to see in pictures)
It was also her birthday while they were here!
We were able to reuse some of the wood, which saved a lot of cost. We love the new porch.
We also added handrails to the steps, which weren't there before.
We went out to eat as "just girls." And enjoyed a few games for Christmas Day.
Our annual Christmas Eve dinner! Complete with British crackers.
Marty ran over to his stocking, He knew there was good stuff in there!
You know all my Christmas decor comes down the day after, so Tyler helped with take down too.
Gotta include the chickens, who are still doing well!
Now it's time for New Years!
The night before, Will went to his first church dance with Amy.
And that's a wrap for 2023!
