Amy and Tyler both shot in the Archery National Tournament that was in Louisville, KY. Since that's not too far of a drive for Ann's family, they came down too. We all stayed at a great Air BNB and toured the town. It was such a fun weekend!
The pictures all loaded out of order, but it's too much of a pain to change it, so you are seeing the trip backwards.
Modjeskas- basically a piece of heaven. They are caramel covered marshmallows and we bought them in downtown Louisville.
A visit to the Falls of the Ohio state park. It's a fun area on the banks of the Ohio River. There were lots of rocks to climb and fossils to spot.
A stop at an ice cream spot!
We walked across the pedestrian bridge- from Kentucky to Indiana.
We happened into an International Festival and stayed to watch this Chinese dance performance.
Lunch at a place called Gallaxie. It was good. The kids all thought the bathroom was terrifying. It was dark and had weird pictures.
Archery Tournament:
The boys wanted to ride the escalator. A lady at the bottom wouldn't let them. So Stratton went with them and she didn't say anything.
Anna makes the prettiest breakfasts.
We went on an evening boat ride that went down the Ohio River.
Lunch at The Eagle.
We went to the Bernheim Forrest. It's been on my list for awhile to see the Forest Giants. They didn't disappoint!
Anna died laughing then Tyler said, "I got to feed the turtles! Check that off my bucket list."
Us Nagel's like our treats :)
The Air BNB had their own stickers- I thought that was a fun idea.
Tyler's elementary school mascot is an otter- so he was excited to see this picture at the Air BNB.
