November

We never seem to carve pumpkins in time for Halloween. But in this case we did it before the next year, so that was a plus! I just give them the pumpkins and knives and it keeps them preoccupied for awhile!

We did a service project where we set up cots for a homeless shelter.

Lee met Tyler at a school fieldtrip where they went to see a MTSU womens basketball game.

We had a lesson on the story of the friends who took their sick friend to Jesus and then went through the roof to get to him. We lifted each other with a blanket and talked about lifting each other up.

This big, friendly dog showed up in our backyard one day. He loved Tyler!

Amy and Tyler got to shoot beside each other a few times this season. That was fun!

Mom and Dad came down to see Will's play. While here, Dad replaced our windows.

Lee's method of "covering the drain" for the freeze.

Amy went to a fancy party with a theme and they had everyone dress up. I had something cooking and couldn't stop stirring, so I had her bring it and stir in the car. haha.

Tyler had another EEG. It showed he still had a slight tendency for seizures (insert sigh)

And the rest of the month was Will's play. Actually with all the rehearsals, this was really the theme of the month! We encouraged him to audition for a local children's community theater. And we were shocked when he landed one of the lead roles! He had never been in a play before! There was a little learning curve, and thankfully I had done theater in high school, so I could help with the lingo. But he worked really, really hard and we were all so excited for him when he performed. He played Michael in Elf Jr. Michael is the son of Mr Hobbs- who doesn't believe that Buddy the elf is his son. We were so grateful that so many people came to watch! I was also to be backstage a lot, which was fun. These are all out of order, but you get the idea.

When the Allen's were here, it was also Anna's birthday! So we had to do a little celebration.

One performance night- this was Will's fortune in his lunch. haha. We thought it was hilarious.

These were his photos for the program.

And that wraps up November!

(We did go to Georgia for Thanksgiving- but apparently we forgot to take pictures!)
