August brought the last few days of summer and the start of school. This year Amy started HIGHSCHOOL! Will started Middle School and Tyler is the 4th grade at a new elementary school. New schools for everyone this year!
Will hasn't had a seizure in nearly 2 years, so it was time to do some EEG's. We ended up doing one a month for 3 months. This was the first of the 3. The end result was he has grown out of generalized epilepsy, but he actually had a second type of seizure no one ever saw because the first was masking it. He will grow out of that one eventually as well, but not until he's 14/15 years old.
Of course a trip to an EEG deserves a trip to Nachos afterwards. Salvador likes to see if he can still pickup the boys.
One day I took the boys out for some Geocaching. I really love geocaching, we don't seem to make enough time to do it. And look at that sky!! It was so beautiful!
Lee went out of town for a weekend, so naturally I did a project. Our bedroom! I wanted to do this for a long time and finally got it done. We love it. It made such a difference. It feels like we have an adult bedroom now! The gray nightstand and the filing cabinet eventually came out as well. I guess I didn't get an updated picture.
Sometimes the neighbor dog gets out of her fence and she comes to visit. However Marty doesn't know how to act around other dogs so he's always quite confused.
Looks like a trip to Nachos- but who knows what occasion this was for.
Marty thinks he's a human.
Tyler doing some art. All our kids seem to have a knack for it in one way or another.
The youth at church had a pinewood derby race. Amy made her car the Mystery Machine.
I don't remember why Tyler was using this, but I probably thought he was cute.
A girl and her dog.
The boys were on a potato kick for awhile. I think Will ate 12 in one day or something for the current record.
A visit with Meme, Papa and Great Grandma!
The Master Gardeners have these beautiful grape vines. Each year we have a harvest day where people pick grapes and then they are pressed into grapejuice. It's a big community event. It's a lot of fun!
Me and my friend Gail Tate
Mom came back in town and she and I went to harvest more grapes and made a ton of grape jelly with them.
