Amy had some cute girls over during spring break. I just forgot to post the picture. The girls are in our new ward. I'm so glad Amy has already made great new friends. (Caitlyn and Samantha)
Amy drew this snake on our steps one afternoon.
I replaced the outdoor thermometer on the shed. The old one was so yellow you couldn't even see the numbers on it.
I've planted a lot of plants. Most were root bound in their garden containers. I was happy to give them a happy home!
I planted my baby. It's a gardenia that I bought for $1.99 about 2-3 years ago. It was sickly and sad. I've replanted it a few times and babied the heck out of it. When I bought it, it was about 1/16th this size. I hope it likes its new spot!
Tyler turned 6. (I'll add more pictures in its own post)
I planted 5 blueberry bushes in the backyard and then made 5 cages from some old fencing I've been hauling around. The cages will keep those babies from being run over by the lawnmower as well as keep their trunks from being eaten by animals :)
Will has taken a recent obsession with sharks. One evening he spent an hour drawing all these pictures with facts.
I spent a Saturday gardening in the rain. I'm sure our neighbors think I'm insane.
Amy was asked to say the pledge at the City School Board meeting. She did great.
Her artwork was one of the few chosen to represent the school. She has this happen a few years ago as well. The city then displays the art in the city hall rotunda.
I also started a bunch of seeds. I can't wait for them to sprout and get them in the ground!
I think that pretty much brings us up to speed. It's so weird not writing daily updates. With all the kids in school, there's no one to take pictures of! Oh well. I'll keep trying to update when I can. :)
